Washington Savings Bank Announces Two Promotions

Washington Savings Bank has announced the promotion of two employees following their recent Board of Directors meeting.

Allison Carpenter was promoted from Retail Operations Officer to Assistant Vice President of Retail Operations. In her career at the bank, Allison has served in many roles, starting as a bank teller during college. She returned to the bank in 2016 as a Loan Originator and has served as a Project Manager. A bank release shares that Allison prides herself on providing excellent customer care and leadership skills to her team members and customers. If she doesn’t have an answer, she works to find it. Whether it takes seconds or weeks you will know she is still on it. Allison is a mentor with Effingham Unit 40 and an active member of New Hope Church in Effingham. She especially enjoys time with her husband, Matt, and their children, her family, and their dog, Tucker.

Blake Masse was promoted from Loan Originator to Loan Officer. Blake was born and raised in Mattoon. He attended Mattoon High School, Lake Land College, and Eastern Illinois University where he graduated with a finance degree. The bank release shares that Blake has a passion for helping his customers in any way possible to ensure their banking needs are met. Outside of work, Blake can be found playing a round of golf with friends, working out at the gym, or hanging out with his dog, Hank.
