Cowden-Herrick Board Fills Administrative, Coaching Positions

Cowden-Herrick school board members handled a lot of business at this month's meeting.

The Board awarrded a bid from Select Interior to replace flooring in the Cowden cafeteria and hallway; and authorized Superintendent Seth Schuler to bid on two used buses.

Board members accepted the resignation of Lindsay Sarver as junior high cheerleading sponsor and accepted the resignation of Mikayla Ruot as K-12 music and band teacher. The Board then employed Kelsey Toland as K-12 music and band teacher and employed Kyleigh Wallace as summer custodial help. 

Board members also hired to fill coaching slots, including: high school volleyball--Katy Noble...high school volleyball assistant coach Kendall Fulk...high school girls head basketball coach Marc Bain...high school girls assistant basketball coach Jaylen Robertson...junior high boys basketball coach Andrew Noble...junior high track coaches Cassidy Tucker and AJ Miller...high school track coach Clint Lorton...junior/senior high school cross country coach Clint Lorton...and 5th and 6th grade basketball coach Lee Roadarmel. 

Cowden-Herrick board members approved contracts for principals Tina Oldham and Brett Boehm for the coming two school years, and approved a three-year contract with Unit Secretary Teresa Redman.
