Beecher City School Board Approves Budget Changes

Beecher City school board members approved a tentative amended budget for the current fiscal year at this week's meeting. Final action on the budget should take place at the Board's June meeting.

The Board approved a list of summer maintenance projects; and approved board member Aaron Summers to be the district's Eastern Illinois Area Special Education board representative. Fees for the coming year were also approved, as well as student handbook changes.

The Board employed coaches and sponsors for the coming year, and accepted a letter of resignation from an extra curricular activity sponsor.
