Road, Rail Crossing Improvements in Effingham

There are improvement projects getting underway in and around Effingham.

Blohm Avenue will be closed from Magnolia Street to Sycamore Street for patching and sidewalk repair. The street will be closed from Monday through Friday, May 13 through May 18. The work could rool over into the following week.

CSX Railroad will be working on these railroad crossings along National Avenue...3rd Street, 4th Street, and 5th Street. The crossings will be closed from 7am May 13 to 7am May 15.

Also, the City has completed flushing of fire hydrants in Effingham.
