More on Crash in Sigel Early Thursday Morning

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office has released additional information about the crash in Sigel early Thursday morning.

Shelby County Undersheriff Dan Greuel said the crash was reported at 2:59am on US 45 in Sigel. Greuel said the car involved was southbound when the driver missed the curve and ran off the highway. The car struck two tractors parked at Sigel Equipment. 

Greuel said the car was driven by 63-year-old Jackie Wilson of Chicago. Wilson was injured and had to be extricated from his vehicle. Wilson was then airlifted to Carle Hospital in Urbana. 

There was no one at the dealership at the time of the crash. An investigation into the crash continues.
