Man Injured When Car Strikes Tractor at Sigel Equipment

A man suffered major injuries early Thursday morning when his car ran off the highway and struck a tractor in Sigel.

The crash happened about 3am along US Route 45 at Sigel Equipment. A southbound car missed the curve coming into Sigel and ran off the right side of the highway The car slammed into a John Deere 4440 tractor parked at the dealership. 

The driver of the car was taken for treatment. No one was at the dealership at the time of the crash. 

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
