It'll be a big weekend for the Effingham High School Marching Hearts Red Regiment. The band is heading for Chicago.

Director Trent Mason's crew will leave Saturday morning for the Windy City. Stops that day will include Field Museum, Medieval Times, Millenium Park included photos at the Bean, and a performance by the Blue Man Group.

Sunday activities will include a visit to 360 Chicago at the John Hancock Building, Navy Pier and the Art Institute, as well as a performance by the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra

Mason said it'll be a quick night's sleep Sunday before heading to school Monday morning.
