Cowden-Herrick School Board Approves Three-Year Teacher Contract

Cowden-Herrick school board members approved a three-year contract with the Cowden-Herrick Federation of Teachers Local, effective through the 2026-2027 school year at this month's meeting.

The Board approved Junior Carlisle for another year as the district's bus mechanic; acquired the Grades K-5 Wonders 2023 reading curriculum; renewed a one-year CD with United Fidelity Bank; and approved Country Boys Construction to repair the junior high gym wall.

Board members employed Trent Boehm and Madonna Shellenbarger as summer help, and accepted Dennis Nohren's resignation as junior high boys basketball coach.
