Noon Rotarians Learn of Drug Use and Abuse in Effingham County

Effingham Noon Rotarians heard alarming numbers regarding the prevalence of drugs in Effingham County at their meeting on April 3.

Noon Rotarian Norbert Soltwedel, a member of the Effingham County Board, said he is continually made aware of problems in the county. Soltwedel said drug use is one of the most urgent problems. He invited two individuals involved in ROSC...Recovery Oriented System of Care...who are on the front lines in the effort to help those battling drug use and abuse.

The guest presenters were ROSC Coordinator Samantha Hicks and Recovery Navigator Felicia Depoister.
