Cumberland school board members voted this month to provide for the issuance of $2 million in bonds for elementary school roofing repairs.

The Board also approved a bid for high school locker refinishing and repairs, and a bid for drainage, sidewalk construction and playground repairs.

A five-year lease agreement was approved for a 27-passenger bus and a 21-passenger bus with a wheelchair lift.

The Cumberland board accepted the irrevocable letter of retirement from Tammy Hall effective at the end of the 27-28 school year, employed Brandon Miller as the high school girl's assistant basketball coach, and employed Robert Boyd as a district third shift custodian.
