Effingham County Career Fair is Thursday

The 2024 Effingham County Career Fair is scheduled for Thursday, March 21st, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Keller Convention Center located at 1202 N Keller Dr., Effingham. The event is designed to benefit both businesses and jobseekers.

Presented by the Effingham County Chamber, City of Effingham, and The Krusteaz Company, the Career Fair offers a vital platform for local businesses to connect with talented individuals seeking employment opportunities. All interested businesses can contact the Chamber for a chance to participate.

Attendees will benefit from complimentary services designed to enhance their job search experience. Professional headshots courtesy of Piotrowski Studios, along with mock interviews and resume reviews by seasoned industry leaders, will equip job seekers with the tools they need to succeed.

Informative sessions led by industry expert Sarah Hill, Director of Library Services at Lake Land College, will shed light on the transformative potential of generative AI in the workplace. These will take place throughout the morning. Sarah will also host an employer-focused breakfast session at 7:30 AM, offering networking opportunities and in-depth discussions on relevant industry topics.
