Governor Quinn has just one month left to decide if medical marijuana should be legal in Illinois.

A bill that would allow patients with one of 33 illnesses to use the drug for pain is still sitting on the governor’s desk.   Quinn has until August 4th to sign the bill and though he’s open to the idea of medical marijuana, he hasn’t said whether he supports the plan.

A few other big ticket items are also waiting for Quinn’s signature, including a bill that would make it illegal for people to hold their cell phone while they’re driving.
