Dieterich Village Board to Host Informational Meeting on Section Storm Sewer Project

Dieterich village board members will host an informational meeting regarding the upcoming East Section Street storm sewer project. 

The informational meeting will be held at 6pm on Wednesday, March 13 at the Village Hall. Anyone interested is invited to attend.

The Board also learned that the Safe Routes to School sidewalk grant project is to be on the state bid letting in April. 

Board members approved the purchase of new street signs and posts for just under $3,500 and hired Art Borries for refinishing the Civic Center floor for $1,650. Also approved was the release of a claim on Donald and Laura Dill's lot in Hartke Subdivision, and the Board heard about work to plant two trees by the Dieterich Trailblazers 4-H Club. It was also agreed to hire three summer workers.

A reminder, too, that a ribbon-cutting for the Wright Family Center is set for this Friday, March 8, at 10am.
