Some Consolidated Telephone Customers Experiencing Phone Call Problems

Some Consolidated Communications telephone customers were having difficulty Monday making or receiving phone calls.

Kyle Thweatt, Consolidated's Senior Communications Specialist released this statement as of 4pm: "We are currently experiencing a service disruption affecting some local and long distance voice services in our Illinois service area. Our teams are diligently working on the issue to restore services as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience."
