Two Elderly Individuals Found Dead in Yale

Two elderly individuals were located dead in Yale in Jasper County just after 3pm Tuesday.

Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation was contacted by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office to conduct a death investigation. The Sheriff's Office had gone to the residence to conduct a welfare check and located an 81-year-old male and a 75-year-old female, both deceased. The names of the individuals have not been released.

Authorities say the investigation is active.
