Brownstown school board members approved an intergovernmental agreement for alternative education programs, and approved the calendar for the coming school year.

The Board approved the Brownstown district as the administrative agent for the Fayette County Early Childhood Block Grant for the coming school year, and approved an amended calendar for this school year.

In personnel moves, the Brownstown board employed Jamie Kistler as junior high boys track coach, employed Nicholas Tkachuk as drama sponsor, employed Ron Morecraft as a fulltime bus route driver for the coming school year; approved Tammy Sasse as a volunteer assistant high school track coach; and approved an unpaid leave of absence for McKenzie Clark.

The Board adopted a resolution to abate money from the Working Cash Fund to the Operations and Maintenance Fund; approved the 2024 Sequence of Honorable Dismissal list; and conducted a public hearing regarding the intent to sell Working Cash bonds.
