(THE SCENE ALONG WESTBOUND I-70 IN FAYETTE COUNTY AT MID-AFTERNOON FRIDAY)

Friday's snowfall resulted in many accidents throughout the listening area.

The two or so inches of snow was whipped by the winds into icy patches that resulted in numerous crashes. 

We had no reports of serious injuries.
