Clay County board members this week approved an animal control agreement between the county and various municipalities.

The agreement will provide animal control services for the communities of Louisville, Clay City, Flora and Xenia. Each municipality will pay according to the population of their community, at $6/person.

The Clay board also reappointed Ted Whitehead to the 911 Board for a three-year term; approved the sale of four parcels of land for delinquent taxes; and heard from Sheriff Andy Myers about a phone system upgrade at the Courthouse in Louisville.
