Teutopolis school board members Monday set tentative graduation and promotion dates of May 12 at 2:30pm for the high school and May 15 at 7:30pm for the junior high. The Board approved an alternative education agreement for next year with the Regional Office of Education, and approved May 1 for a senior class trip to Indianapolis. An expenditure was authorized for grade school playground renovation with a Teutopolis Education Foundation mega-grant providing two pieces of playground equipment.

Teutopolis board members considered seeking grants for a food service management company, but decided not to seek requests for proposals at this time. The Board also reviewed possible calendars for next school year with a decision to be made in March.

In personnel moves, the Teutopolis board accepted resignations or letter of intent to retire notices from Sue Bushur as grade school paraprofessional in May, Gavin Huber as junior high track coach, Peg Pals as grade school custodian in July, Macie Will as junior high cook as of February as of February 22, and teacher and coach Laurie Thompson as of the 26-27 school year.

The Board hired Amber Rose as a six-hour junior high cook, Rick Belford as 6-1/2 hour grade school paraprofessional through May, Jennifer Weidner from junior high assistant track coach to 7th grade coach, Morgan Mette as high school assistant track coach, Tim Mills as high school head volleyball coach, Tracy Dennis as high school volunteer track coach, and Tim Ordner as transportation director and mechanic.
