Brownstown School Board Fills Vacancy

Brownstown school board members have appointed A.J. Tackett to fill a vacancy on the board. Tackett was sworn in by Board President Don Bloemker at a special meeting of the Board Tuesday evening.

The appointment will run through the end of the current term in April of 2025.

Brownstown Superintendent Mike Shackelford said, "Mr. Tackett brings a clear understanding of the demands and expectations of being a Board member along with a constructive attitude toward the challenge."
