Washington Savings Bank has begun 2024 with the addition of Thomas Davey to their lending team.
Davey joins as the new Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer, working primarily out of the Charleston Ave location in Mattoon.
Davey graduated from the University of Massachusetts and brings over 25 years of banking, with both commercial and ag lending experience. For the past 5 years, he has managed the Northeast Arkansas and Southern Missouri Region for a specialized ag lending company. Previously, Davey worked with a large Regional Bank in the mid-west as their Relationship Manager and Market President for 15 years.
Davey, his wife, and two sons lived around St. Louis, which established their roots in the Midwest. Today Tom’s sons and three grandchildren live in the local area. His family are true sports fanatics and are die-hard Red Sox and Patriot fans.
“I am thrilled to have Tom join our team, as he brings 25-plus years of lending experience in Community Banking. We pride ourselves on providing professional financial services and tools and look forward to Davey working with our great business partners in the Mattoon Community,” said Dan Capes, Executive Vice President, and Chief Lending Officer.
