South Central school board members Wednesday heard that finances are in good shape.

A budget review six months into the year showed the District is running under 50% in expenditures while revenues are running more than 50% in funding sources. At this point, the District is on track to stay on budget.

Superintendent Kerry Herdes reported the district is bidding several items, including replacing the high school roof and replacing all the electric panels and switches at the middle school.

Board members learned that reimbursement came in for the ESSER 3 part of the middle school project funding in excess of a million dollars.

The Board granted Brooke King a leave of absence retroactive to January 8-11.
