Teutopolis village board members Wednesday revisited the purchase of radar guns for the village police department.

The Board approved the purchase of the radar guns at their last meeting, but Village Board President David Repking vetoed the purchase due to the expense.

This week, the Board decided to wait until a purchase of a new squad car is finalized before purchasing the radar guns is reconsidered.

The Board also discussed whether to move the radar sign on the west edge of the village that monitors eastbound traffic. Rather than move the sign, the Board decided to turn off the red and blue lights on the sign.

Board members also met with representatives of Conner and Conner Engineers, the village's current engineering firm. Discussions have also been held with representatives of Milano and Grunloh Engineers. A decision on which firm to utilize could come at the Board's next meeting.

A meeting of the village's architectural committee led to approval of a site plan for a residential lot in Prairie View Subdivision.
