Relay for Life Pageant

The Effingham County Fair Pageant Committee is teaming up with Relay for Life to bring you a Relay Pageant.

This year, there will be three categories: Little Miss (5-8 years old), Junior Miss (9-12 years old), and Little Mister (5-12 years old).

Each participant will pay an entry fee of $10.  The winners in each category will receive prizes.  Each participant will receive a gift tote, a tiara or crown, and a sash to keep.

The event will be held the night of Relay for Life in Effingham County, Friday, July 12, at Teutopolis Junior High School, but fundraising can begin as soon as the participant is registered.

All contestants should be at the Relay for Life grounds by 6pm the night of the event.  The winners will be announced around 7pm.

All money must be turned in by July 9.

Contestants are asked to wear either their favorite dress, or an outfit matching the Relay theme, "Back to the Future".  They may wear an outfit from their favorite decade.

The pageant will benefit the American Cancer Society, and presents boys and girls to be more involved in the fight against cancer.
