Dieterich village board members heard that a mid-February deadline is still in place for completion of the Wright Family Center.

Center Director Traci Bruns received permission to hire staff so she can concentrate on director's duties. There is an option to volunteers hours at the center in exchange for time to use the center.

There has also been a good response to dance and cheer classes at the Center.

Also, the village board is looking at additional decorative pole banners since the village has added signs in the downtown area.

Village officials have also received good response to the use of two speed radar signs mounted on temporary trailers, so the Village is looking at permanent signs. The Board is also finalizing an agreement with Montessori Kids Universe to operate the day care facility that will be a part of the Wright Family Center.

The Board has also completed a TIF development agreement with NMRG Development. The village will pay a total of $35,000 over five years. The project is located in the former Mark's Market building. A bar and grill is being developed in part of the building.
