North Clay school board members passed the fiscal year tax levy totaling 4.99% above what was extended in taxes last year. The vote was 6-0, following a 4-2 vote against a 9.99% increase.
The Board heard from representatives of the high school FCCLA, and learned that Camdyn Tappendorf and Eli Golden were named Homecoming Queen and King.
There was discussion, but no votes on construction project possibilities, but the Board did accept the audit of the past fiscal year.
In personnel matters, the North Clay board accepted the resignation of Michael Honerkamp as 8th grade girls basketball coach, accepted the letter of retirement of former superintendent Travis Wyatt retroactive to September 30 but retained Wyatt as a substitute bus driver, approved an unpaid leave request for Katrina VanDyke, and accepted the resignations of Emily Thomann and Jazmyn Rodriguez as high school volleyball assistant coaches.
