Illinois State Senator Bill Brady has announced another run for governor.
Brady was the Republican nominee for governor in 2010 and narrowly lost to Democrat Pat Quinn who had moved up to the top spot when Governor Rod Blagojevich was tossed out of office after his felony conviction.
Brady said he wants to help build an environment in Illinois where businesses can grow, people can work, and children can thrive. He said he's ready to roll up his sleeves and tell it like it is in order to rebuild the state and the economy.
Brady will square off against State Treasurer Dan Rutherford and businessman Bruce Rauner in the primary election next March. State Senator Kirk Dillard, also a candidate in 2010, is expected to jump into the race in the next few days.
