Altamont Lighting Contest Winners

Jason and Sherena Koester are the first place winners of the City of Altamont Christmas Lighting Contest.

The Koesters' display at 104 South Reynolds won them one free month of electricity.

The second place winner was Mary Ann Slifer for her display at 112 West Monroe. She will receive 50% off on her electric bill.

The City of Altamont donated the free electricity.

The third place winners were Brian and Jane Lustig at 208 Meadows Lane. The Lustigs won $50 in Chamber bucks to be used at any Altamont Chamber of Commerce member business and was given by the Altamont Garden Club.

Eligible residents were required to live within the Altamont city limits and in Town and Country Subdivision.
