Park Board Learns About Projects at Ron Diehl Center

Effingham Park District Director Jeff Althoff shared with the park board at this month's meeting about a renovation project at the Ron Diehl Center.

Althoff said the project involves work in the basement at the Center to prevent leaks. The prevention project will enhance the batting cages located in the basement.

Althoff also reported that the bathrooms in the Ron Diehl Center are to be remodeled, with the project to begin after the first of the year.

The Park Board also voted at the meeting to pass the Park District tax levy for the fiscal year. The levy totaled just under $1.5 million.
