Stew-Stras Board Reviews Tax Levy

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members reviewed their tentative fiscal year tax levy this week. Final action on the levy should occur at the Board's December meeting.

The Board considered a memorandum of understanding with Trinity Lutheran School in Stewardson. The MOA concerns junior high band and drumline.

In personnel matters, the Stew-Stras board hired Brianna Hewing as junior high assistant volleyball coach, approved Board member Chris Debolt as an unpaid volunteer substitute bus driver, and accepted the resignation of Bev Wascher as high school secretary and district treasurer.
