Two Fayette County Men Sentenced to Prison for Sexual Offenses

Two men have received prison time for sex offenses in Fayette County.

Brownstown resident Clint Evans has pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal sexual assault, and has been sentenced to 16 years in prison.

The 50-year-old Evans was sentenced to eight years in prison on a count of assault involving a family member, and was sentenced to eight years in prison on a count of assault by force. Evans will be placed on mandatory supervised release and will also serve three years of an intensive probation program.

Also this week, 32-year-old Blake Knott of St. Peter pled guilty to criminal sexual assault.

Knott was sentenced to four years in prison for an offense earlier this year. Knott will serve three years mandatory supervised release once out of prison.
