Teutopolis Board Approves Work on North Plum, Northern Row

Teutopolis village board members approved sewer improvements on North Plum Street and culvert work on Northern Row Street. The combination of engineering and construction totaled around $58,000.

The tax levy for the new fiscal year was approved at an increase from the previous year of less than 5%. It was also agreed to pay Siemer Milling Company just under $41,000 as part of the company's Tax Increment Financing district agreement with the village.

The Board refunded three $1,000 bonds for lots in Prairie View Subdivision, approved an upgrade of the village's website server, and discussed but took no action on a new police vehicle and new body and in-car cameras until more bids are received.
