Never the Wrong Time to Thank a Veteran

The guest speaker at Saturday morning's Veterans Day ceremony in Effingham encouraged citizens to thank veterans for their service whenever they have the opportunity.

Marvin Cottrill of Paynesville, Minnesota traveled to Effingham as a friend and fellow service member of Effingham VFW Post #1769 Commander Gary Buehnerkemper.

Cottrill reminded those present that they don't have to wait until November 11th to say "Thank You" to a veteran.
