County Museum Lecture Series Begins New Season

"From Ewington to Effingham: The Story of Masonic Lodge 149" will be the subject of the Effingham County Museum’s historical presentation when people gather on the second floor of the Effingham County Museum when the eighteenth annual season of history lectures begins on at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9.

Jane Ries, Vice-President of the Museum, will be the presenter for the evening.

As in the past the lecture series is sponsored by the Effingham County Cultural Center and Museum Association, Inc., an organization devoted to the preservation of the fascinating  history of the county. The public is encouraged to attend to learn more about local history.  There is no admission charge.
