Representatives of the Family Life Center spoke at the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce's First Friday Luncheon.

Mary Hovis and Allison Deters shared about the Effingham location, but also updated those present on the FLC locations in Newton and Shelbyville.

Effingham's Family Life Center opened in 1995 and is located on Eden Drive

The Family Life Center provides programs men and women to learn to be better moms and dads, but is probably known for the Silk Purse Thrift Store on West Fayette in Effingham, which opened in 2001.
