Cumberland School Board Holds Monthly Meeting

Cumberland school board members heard at a recent meeting that the high school varsity Eco Team earned third place out of 17 teams at the 46th Annual Lake Shelbyville Meet.

The Board also commended the Cumberland Middle School cross country team for qualifying for the state meet, including the entire boys squad and Paige Wolke as an individual.

In personnel moves, the Cumberland board hired Michael Murdoch as assistsnt middle school track coach, Bridgett Cox as assistant middle school volleyball coach, and Rebecca Sims as a fulltime bus driver.
