Stew-Stras Board Designates Grant Dollars for Window Replacement

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members have designated grant funding for continued window replacement work.

The district could receive up to $50,000. The Board earmarked the money to be used for the east side high school window replacement.

Board members also designated a school bus with a wheelchair lift as surplus property, and recognized bus drivers Mark Crowe and Katie Dandurand for dealing with difficult bus situations earlier this year and keeping their student safe.

The Stew-Stras board also hired Jordan Wittenberg as assistant junior high boys basketball coach, and accepted the resignation of Chance Robertson as junior high boys assistant basketball coach.
