Brownstown Board Awards Several Bids on District Maintenance Building

Brownstown school board members took action on several items related to a district maintenance building at a special meeting this week.

The Board awarded a bid to Fulk Construction for wood structure and sheet metal work; a bid from Grunloh Buildings for concrete and sitework; from Fulk Construction for general trades and interior finish work; from Braun Plumbing for plumbing work; from Anderson Electric for electrical work; and from Grunloh Buildings for HVAC work at the maintenance building.

Board members authorized Superintendent Mike Shackelford to apply for a maintenance grant for the fiscal year. The Board also discussed the sports co-op with the St. Elmo school district.
