Production Halted at Flex N Gate Due to Autoworkers Strike

Production has been temporarily halted at the Flex N Gate plant in Effingham by the autoworkers strike.

The shutdown was just announced Wednesday evening, as the strike now has been called at a Ford plant in Kentucky. Ford is a Flex N Gate customer.

We have contacted Flex N Gate in Effingham in hopes of getting more information as to the situation.

Some 400 people are employed at the Effingham Flex N Gate operation on South Banker.
