State Grant Awards for Revenue Lost Due to Pandemic

The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity has announced the conclusion of the Back to Business Restaurants, Hotels and Arts Program with $156 million provided in relief funds. Through these programs, nearly 4,000 grants went to businesses in over 500 cities, towns and localities in 95 counties across Illinois.

Holiday Inn of Effingham--$97,555

Baymont Inn and Suites of Effingham--$54,004

Quality Inn of Effingham--$50,020

Fairview Motel of Montrose--$20,034

Bella's Enterprises of Altamont--$10,000

Classic Thai Restaurant of Effingham--$20,000

Country Rhodes of Effingham--$50,000

Downtown Popcorn Company of Effingham--$5,000

The Loading Dock Bar and Grill of Farina--$20,000

Poss Music Works of Effingham--$10,000

William Passalacqua of Effingham--$5,000

Frye Pottery of Shumway--$5,000

The awards are based on revenue declines as a result of the pandemic.
