Brownstown Board Holds September Meeting

Brownstown school board members approved the district budget for the coming school year, approved a health service agreement with Paula Gephart, and approved Justin Karnes as a volunteer assistant bass fishing coach for the school year.

The Board authorized Superintendent Mike Shackelford to apply for ESSER grant funds, updated Board policies, and okayed the installation of a key fob entry system to four entrances.

Board members approved resignations from Brittany Rigdon as junior/senior high school secretary and from Michelle Dial as a school bus driver. Employed for the school year were McKennzie Clark as junior/senior high school secretary, and Rod Rogers, Tracy Evans and Kevin Hollowell as substitute bus drivers.
