Altamont Council Get Ready for Electronics Drive

Altamont city council members took care of a couple of matters at a meeting earlier this month.

The Council approved a controlled burn request from the Altamont American Legion Post. The request is for the disposal of unserviceable flags. The disposal will take place at Schmidt Park at 4:30pm on October 21st.

The other item was sharing information about an electronics disposal drive. The drive will take place on September 30th from 9am to noon at the Streets and Alleys building at 603 West Monroe. Anything with a cord will be accepted. Take items to the city streets and alleys building.
