Dr. Nayak Named Physicians' Value Award Recipient

David Nayak, MD, was recently named St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital's Physician's Values Award recipient. This is the fourth year for this award, given to the physician who most represents the hospital's four core values of respect, care, competence and joy. Dr. Nayaka was selected for the award by a committee of preivous Physicians' Values Award winners among six nominations.

Dr. Nayak was selected for exemplifying the hospital's four Core Values every day. Some quotes from the nomination letter included, "Always a gentleman with both patients and colleagues, he displays respect to all members of the team and values the input of each person . . . He is always compassionate with the patients and they often comment about his bedside manner . . . It is quite evident that he cares about his patients, his relationship with his peers and the community . . . He loves what he does and that flows through to his patients and colleagues."
