Pro-life advocates across the nation are uniting once again in a solemn tribute to the lives lost to abortion.

In observance of the 11th annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children, pro-life individuals will gather at gravesites and memorials dedicated to honoring the memory of aborted babies. This event serves as a reminder of the lives impacted and lost, following the Roe v. Wade decision in 1973.

Organizers of the event said, "More than 63 million innocent lives have been lost to abortion since the landmark ruling. Advocates are coming together to raise awareness about the humanity of unborn children and to pay respect to those whose lives were ended by abortion."

The local prayer service will take place at the Teutopolis KC Memorial to the Unborn, prominently situated in front of the Seminary Tower. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 9th, beginning at 8:00am. Attendees are invited to take their own chairs to ensure a comfortable and respectful gathering. In case of inclement weather, the service will move to the north canopy of the Banquet Hall.

This memorial service stands as a symbol of solidarity among pro-life advocates who believe that every life, from conception to natural death, is deserving of dignity and protection. Organizers say, "As participants join in prayer and reflection, they will collectively honor the victims of abortion and offer prayers for an end to the ongoing injustice that has affected countless lives."
