South Central FFA Chapter Competes at Section Horse Judging

Eight members of the South Central FFA chapter participated in the Equine Career Development Event August 25. The event was hosted by the Mt. Vernon FFA Chapter and held at King City Saddle Club in Mt. Vernon.

Participants judged four quarter horses by structure, soundness and overall quality to be used by ranchers, farmers and riders.

The South Central chapter placed seventh overall in Section 19, with Addisyn Sigrist placing in the Top 10. 

Other top scorers were River Yingst and Meagan Lotz. Other South Central FFA members who participated included Kiera Cowger, Chase Hassebrock, Ameilia Montes, Karli Holmes and Lucas Curry.
