Stew-Stras Board Reports on Maintenance Projects, Personnel

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members heard this month from Superintendent Justin Deters that the district track project has begun, and that the window project that was funded by grant funding has been completed.

The Board directed Deters to open a fulltime route position for a bus driver, and discussed a future maintenance grant.

Board members accepted resignations from Jill Spour, Emma Spradlin and Ashlyn Roley; hired Theresa Probst as an industrial arts teacher; hired Hanna Niemerg as an elementary teacher; and hired Katie Dandurand as a 4-1/2 hour paraprofessional. The Board also agreed to a stipend of $500 per semester for Brandi Brehmer for extra Rti duties.
