The Brownstown Board of Education got things finalized for the new school year at this week's meeting.

The Board hired Sierra Stephens and Tonia Stoecklin as long-term substitute teachers, approved Dustin Sefton as volunteer assistant junior high girls basketball coach; and accepted the resignation of Amber Brungard as a one to one teacher aide.

Board members hired Holly Grames as a full-time route bus driver and hired Sara Nevergall as a one to one teacher aide.

Also this week, the Brownstown board approved an intergovernmental agreement with OKAW Vocational system for Vo Ed instruction in member schools; agreed to apply for a school maintenance grant for the fiscal year; and hired Barker Trucking and Excavating to complete the solar field fencing project.
