Thursday Lineup at Effingham County Fair

Another busy day on this Thursday at the 79th Annual Effingham County Fair.

The feature attraction this evening will be the Whippoorwill Rodeo, set to begin at 7:30pm. Grandstand tickets are $12, and track seats are $15.

The carnival will open at 6pm, and it will be Wristband Night.

Other activities will include Community Showcase presentations at 3:30pm and 5:30pm in the Schuetzenfest Building; and country music from Kalen Reardon on the free stage at 5pm.

The 4-H and Junior Show schedule includes the 4-H and Junior Dairy Cattle Show at 9am and the 4-H and Junior Pygmy Goat Show at 1pm. The Class U Dairy Goat Show will begin at 9am. 

The fair will run through Saturday at Altamont.
