Queen Pageant Tonight at County Fair

Here's the Tuesday lineup of activities at the 79th Effingham County Fair:

3:30pm and 5:30pm--Community Showcase in the Schuetzenfest Building

6pm--The Carnival opens with a Wristband Night

7pm--Miss Effingham County Fair Queen Pageant and Little Miss Pageant. We will find out who will succeed retiring Queen Anna Carrell as the 2023 Fair Queen.

There will also be entertainment on the Free Stage.

Here's the judging schedule:

8am--Dairy Goat Weigh-In/Check-In

9am--4-H and Junior Dairy Goat Show

Noon--Class U Dairy Goats Registration

2pm--Junior Sheep Show

3pm--Dairy Cattle Check-In

5-8pm--Rabbit Check-In

5pm--4-H and Junior Dog Show

The Effingham County Fair will run through Saturday at Altamont.
