Renovation work at Windsor schools continues on schedule.

Windsor board members reviewed a price for fencing around HVAC units being added to the school complex. The quoted price was $5,545. Board members asked for some research into whether a local vendor might be able to beat that price.

Windsor Superintendent Erik VanHoveln said the renovation is going well. The project includes sealing and repainting the new gym floor with the "Hatchets" logo, new bleachers in the new gym, HVAC in both gyms, new flooring in the lobby, and an upgrade of the women's restroom in the lobby. The project also includes an electrical upgrade as well as tuckpointing three-quarters of the 1936 portion of the building.

In personnel moves, the Windsor board accepted a resignation from Brach Miller as technology coordinator and co-Student Council advisor, and from Paige Stremming as junior high Scholastic Bowl coach. Board members hired Rachel Kingery as a junior/senior high school English teacher, Dre Hill as interim elementary PE teacher, Whitney Babbs as RTI Coordinator, and David Myers as high school Eco Team Coach.
